Annually, St. Columba Catholic School hosts three primary Fundraisers. The fundraising we do allows us to provide a well-rounded educational experience for our students by raising the funds needed to improve school site facilities, curriculum, and provide academic enrichment opportunities. Thanks to businesses like yourselves, throughout our 50 years of existence, we have been able to directly impact and expand the quality of education offered to our students.

Fall Festival

The largest fundraiser of the year is one of the best community events of the year. For three days in October, our community comes together to celebrate everything that makes our school great! While the opportunity to win a new car through a raffle is the primary form of fundraising, there is a lot of other work that goes into this weekend. With multiple food booths, a beer garden, bounce houses, and game booths, there is no shortage of ways to give back!

Gala

Our Gala is our school’s second-largest fundraiser. The Gala is a fun, adults only, evening to support our school. There is dinner, dancing, drinks, a Silent Auction, a Live Auction, and Casino Games. The bulk of the funds are raised through the Silent and Live Auctions. The Live Auction contains a portion of the evening known as Fund-a-Need. Each year, a specific need is identified within the school, and all funds raised during this portion of the evening are designated and restricted for that purpose. The Gala is a night to remember!

Jog-a-thon

Our final fundraiser of the year is a great event for the kids! Through their own hard work and determination, our students reach out to family and friends to raise money to support our Athletics program. After receiving commitments, the students have a blast running, jogging, and walking their laps on the field below our campus at the Serra Mesa Recreation Center. With music, snacks, and lots of fun, its easy to forget that this event is a fundraiser!
